1. About KobaltTech

KobaltTech Ltd provides independent .NET 10 systems architecture and engineering services. All work is performed by Kobalt Tech as the sole architect and engineer.

2. Engagement Model

Every engagement begins with a free technical consultation. If the project is a fit, I produce a written scope document detailing deliverables, exclusions, timeline, and a fixed price. No work begins until both parties agree in writing.

3. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed: 50% upfront on scope acceptance, 50% on delivery and sign-off. Payment is by UK bank transfer. Invoices are due within 14 days. Architecture audit fees are credited toward any subsequent build engagement agreed within 90 days of the audit report.

4. Source Code and Intellectual Property

The compiled system is licensed for perpetual use by the client with no ongoing fees. Full source code, repository history, SQL schemas, and documentation may be purchased at an agreed fee. Without purchase, KobaltTech Ltd retains ownership of the source code and licenses the compiled system under the engagement terms.

5. Scope Changes

Any change to the agreed scope requires a written change request. I will provide a revised price and timeline for approval before proceeding. You never pay for work you did not approve.

6. Confidentiality

All project materials, data, code, and business information shared during an engagement are treated as confidential. I do not disclose client-identifying information. Case studies published on this website are anonymised and do not reveal client identities, proprietary data, or trade secrets.
