KobaltTech Ltd ("I", "my", "me") operates this website to describe my independent systems architecture practice. I take privacy seriously.
Analytics and Tracking
This website uses a minimal first-party analytics mechanism to understand how visitors interact with the site. Specifically:
- Which buttons and links are clicked
- Which pages are visited
- A session identifier to group interactions within a visit
- Browser user-agent and IP address (for security and debugging)
All analytics data is stored on my own server in the United Kingdom. No third-party analytics providers, advertising networks, or tracking scripts are used. No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising.
Under UK PECR Schedule A1 (effective February 2026), first-party, statistics-only analytics are exempt from prior consent. This site's analytics qualify for that exemption — the data is used exclusively to understand site usage, no marketing or personalisation profiling occurs, and the mechanism is entirely self-hosted.
Cookies and Local Storage
This site does not use marketing or advertising cookies. It stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser's localStorage so the site renders in your preferred mode. No analytics or tracking identifiers are stored in cookies or localStorage.
To opt out of analytics tracking, contact [email protected] and I will exclude your visits.
Contact Form
Information submitted through the inquiry form (name, email, project focus, scope) is stored securely and used solely to respond to your enquiry. It is not used for marketing unless you explicitly request it.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data I hold about you. Contact [email protected] with any privacy-related questions.
